Whenever you add an event to your group's home page calendar, you are automatically taken to a COMMUNICATE page that lists all the members in your book group so that you can inform them of the event, which is automatically loaded into the reminder pull-down menu. If you don't want to send an e-mail about this event at this time, you can always skip this page and come back later.
You can e-mail one or all members of your group by selecting the appropriate options. You can e-mail your group about an event you've scheduled, a reminder notice, a change in plans—anything you wish to communicate with your group.
Please note that this feature is restricted to your group only and you cannot e-mail other people. If you wish to contact people not within your group to include them in a group event, click on tell a friend on the bottom menu.
