Why Whistler Reads "Community Series"??

"As a woman in her 50s with three young adult children I recognize that their educations did not necessarily prepare them for the tough, competitive environments in the job market today. Many kids these days are choosing to launch their own independent businesses. I also see my girl friends launching small business enterprises or managing their finances independently. With the wealth of online resources out there, it helps to have some hands on advice and direction on where to go for the best material. These three women have a complement of skills and backgrounds to help you jump start your own venture - what ever that may be!" says Paula Shackleton.

"FL" was deemed a Canada-wide priority by former Finance Minister Jim Flaherty who initiated a task force to determine a Canada-wide action plan that said, “Every Canadian faces financial decisions each day, some are small, others are critical. For most Canadians, making the right decisions, or putting them off entirely, can have a major impact on our financial well-being, and even our health and happiness."
