Serious fiction and non-fiction, poetry, and books on art and architecture lead the way at Brazos. The store hosts The Gulf Coast Reading Series, co-sponsored by the University of Houston's journal of literature and art, presenting the work of poets and fiction writers enrolled in the UH Creative Writing Program. Additional literary and artistic events and exhibits take place several doors down under the auspices of Brazos Projects, a non-profit organization supported by contributions.
