May 23-June 1: Each year, for 10 days in late May and early June, the town of Hay-on-Wye, hosts the Hay Festival. This year the festival, which attracts more than 50,000 people from around the world, includes programs of music, comedy, argument, and discussion groups, and, of course, book-related issues.
