September 18-20: 4th Annual Montana Festival of the Book, Missoula, MT. Showcasing some of the most important voices of the West in over 60 readings and panels, the festival also features book exhibits, performances, a literary contest, and a silent auction. Village Books in Pacific Palisades, California, hosts a book singing for Gary Leonard, author of Symphony in Steel: Walt Disney Concert Hall Documented, to coincide with the opening of the concert hall.
