This book provided a great discussion on topics ranging from the life and genius of John Nash contrasted with his struggle with mental illness, and the barbaric treatments available in his day, the close community of mathmaticians, the actual work he earned his Nobel Prize for (we had a University Math Prof in the group) and the issues of writing a biography on this sort of man. Then of course there is the comparison of the movie treatment, as compared to the book.
